CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT
Job Description/ Qualifications
Directs activities of foreman concerned with electrical
construction in commercial buildings, or other construction
projects. Responsible for maintaining on-time, within budget,
quality construction on all projects. Manages up to ten subordinate
job foreman who supervise a total of up to 30 employees on job
sites. Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college
or technical school; ten to fifteen years related experience and/or
training.
CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN
Job Description/ Qualifications
Responsible for meeting or exceeding project goals in the area of
schedule, quality, customer satisfaction, and bottom-line profit.
Keeps project manager, construction superintendent, and other home
office personnel aware of job status and ensures that management is
aware of all unexpected dealings. May manage one or more
subordinate foremen or lead men who supervise journeymen and
apprentices. Is responsible for the overall direction,
coordination, and evaluation of the job. High school diploma or
general education degree (GED); ten to fifteen years related
experience and/or training.
JOURNEYMAN
Job Description/ Qualifications
Responsible for working under the supervision of the field foreman,
superintendent, project manager but may work on unsupervised
projects and service calls. Ability to lay out and access
electrical projects including the ordering of materials. High
school diploma or general education degree (GED), ten to fifteen
years related experience and/or training.
APPRENTICE
Job Description/ Qualifications
Responsible for working under the supervision of the Field Foreman
and Field Journeyman. Responsible for assisting in meeting budget
for general conditions, clean up etc. and for assisting in
electrical modifications as directed by the Field Foreman and
Journeyman. Assures for receipt, checking, storage and protection
of all materials and equipment. High school diploma or general
education degree (GED); one to four years related experience and/or
training.
